- A photograph of Captain James Auld '12 in military dress. James attended St. Andrew's from 1904 to 1912. During World War I he was a member of 16th Battery, Canadian Field Artillery, and was awarded the Military Cross (two bars). There were only sixteen Canadian soldiers to win this medal. He survived the war to return home, but sadly passed away only a few years later due to an automobile accident.
