- Public Description
- Two white Prefect caps. One cap belonged to student Douglas G. Worling '50, who later joined the school staff and became the first archivist at SAC in 1989. Douglas and his brother Robert arrived at St. Andrew's from their home country of England during World War II in 1940. They then stayed on for ten years at SAC, with Douglas eventually becoming a Prefect. Years after graduation, Douglas undertook the huge task of creating an archives for the school, bringing together various artifacts collected over the years by teachers, Old Boys, and even some headmasters. With his painstaking work, he organized the over 90 years of SAC history, and did much of the prep work for the Centennial Celebration of 1999.
