Cadet Inspection 1970-71

Scope and Contents: black & white, The Andrean - November 1971, Obviously intent on the proceedings are two Old Boys of 1913. Igor de Sherbinin and Henry Herschkovitz, with Mr. Herschkovitz' two daughters and Mrs. Jim Hamilton. This was their first visit to the present school having attended the old school in Rosedale. Henry lives in Mexico and he had not returned to Toronto since 1913. Igor de Sherbinin had a distinguished military career in WWI, being awarded the Military Cross in France in June 1918 and invested by King George V at Buckingham Palace. Being fluent in Russian, he later served as Russian Liaison Officer with General Elmslie in the Eastern theater during the latter stages of the War.
