- The Canadian Geographic Challenge was led by Dr. David Joiner, Head of the Canadian and World Studies Department, who posed a series of twenty questions over the course of 30 minutes to the 13 students participating, allowing them 10 seconds to determine their answers. The competition was very close, with a few points separating the top contestants. Grade 7 student Baichen Luo is this year’s school champion runners-up Andy Wang, Grade 8, and Lucas Chen, Grade 9, were among the top geography students from Grades 7 to 9 competing in the challenge in Ketchum Auditorium.
