- Public Description
- A 1943 class pin for Form V belonging to Antony (Tony) Brown '46. Tony was awarded an entrance scholarship when entering SAC in 1942, and was first with 1st class honours in each form, and was Head Boy in his final year. After graduation, Tony won four university scholarships, and went on to be a top honours graduate from the University of Toronto in Oriental Languages. He then was awarded a fellowship at Princeton University for his Masters. Finally, he was one of the twenty-one Canadians selected by the Royal Society of Canada to study abroad, and he prepared his thesis on the study of Aramaic dialects at the University of Leyden.
