Public Description

An official hockey jersey for the national hockey team of Yugoslavia (now Serbia & Montenegro). This was gifted to staff member and Old Boy Jim Herder '64 by Old Boy Marko Kovacevic '05 in 2005. This jersey was used for the 2004 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship held in the Czech Republic. Marko was a Prefect while at SAC, and was also a member of 1st Soccer, 1st Hockey, and the Cadet Scuba Team. He continued to play hockey at McGill University, and then joined the Partizan team in his home country of Serbia. He is now head coordinator of the Serbian Ice Hockey Federation, and is Serbia's all-time leading goal scorer in international hockey with 26 goals.
