- A semi-autobiographical novel by John Hunt titled "The Ascent of Everest". This novel was once owned and gifted to the library by Old Boy Jack (John) Dyment '24. Jack Dyment attended SAC between 1920 to 1924. He later graduated from the University of Toronto as an Engineer, and worked as Chief Engineer for Air Canada for 36 years. He was later elected to the Canadian Aviation Hall of Fame and appointed a Member of the Order of Canada. In 1998 he donated his extensive library to Towers Library.
