- Public Description
- A collection of essays titled "Improvement of Understanding" by Benedict de Spinoza. This book belonged to the second Head of School, Dr. Bruce Macdonald. D. Bruce Macdonald was the second headmaster at St. Andrew's College, as well as the longest-serving headmaster from 1900 to 1935. He helped shape the college in it's early years, and was known to be a very grave looking man that was quite dignified. However, he was also an extremely kind man who connected with the boys and understood them well, earning both their love and respect.
