Bessie worked in the Busar's Office of St. Andrew's College for more than thirty years. Born in England, she came to Canada as a child and later joined St. Andrew's while it was still in Rosedale. She moved with the College to Aurora, and was known as a happy, loveable woman who was friends with all the boys.
